A jump or a hop

A jump or a hop? Many people seem to find these words as to mean the same thing. However as my students are finding out there is a big difference between the two. People can jump and people can hop. So what is the difference?
A jump is a 2 and 2. Which means you take off of 2 feet and land on 2 feet.
A hop is a 1 and 1 Which means you take off of 1 foot and land on the same foot

When?

When did we lose control? When did we let someone else decide what is best for us and those around us. Since when does someone offering a service or an idea change everything when one person who knows nothing about it decides to question or complain?

I continue to do my job, everyday. I do a great job. I know that those around me are positively impacted by me. They are learning. They are really learning and growing. Why then are people threatened by that? Why is it that because I do my job well you feel intimated? I would want you to do your job well and if you do I would compliment you on it and be happy for you. Why do I feel then that the better job I do, the more pleasing I do... the farther down in the hole I find myself?

We are entering the world of blogging now at Dugsi Academy. This should most definitely be an interesting experience.
